Living the Dream

Hi,

I am living on a high right now, experiencing the thrills and joys of my American Adventure...work is great, having so much fun in the theme parks and across Disney property, organising travel and best of all I have awesome friends to share this journey with.

Every shift at work is different – I am learning so much, are challenged, get to meet some interesting guests and work with a very supportive cast team who love to go above and beyond. Combining this with the education opportunities including Disney Institute courses – I am now enrolled in Disney Guest Services, and the Harvard Mentor Courses – I have already completed one in Creativity and Innovation, who could complain at this opportunity.

However, topping this off the scales of an awesome opportunity - spare time is spent exploring the Disney property including the theme parks, water park, Downtown Disney and the additional entertainment and dining offered.  This week couldn’t be better, work a couple of nights and sleep for a few hours before chilling at EPCOT with a friend, have dinner with flatmates before a movie night in. The following day spend five plus hours at Blizzard Beach (despite the fact that it was only 18’c), there were no queues so we went on all the slides numerous times, and are now paying the consequences for the fun with bruises and scratches all over my body before going out to the Polynesian Resort for the Spirit of Aloha Dinner. Guess what – we repeat it all again, work, do a bit of study and take a leap of faith on the rides at the theme parks.

Who would have thought working for the Mouse could be so good!?

Thus, may I suggest you live the life you imagined - you will never be happier.

Happy day to you too,
xxxxxxx
